April Food Day 2024
It’s not a trick! We want to partner with you to gather non-perishable food for local food banks from March 22nd -29th for delivery on Monday, April 1st. This is a great way to engage your team or your customers. We will send you a whole kit for the event. The kit will have detailed instructions, timeline suggestions, posters for print, and social media posts for you to use. The collections for each community in Thurston will go to nearby food banks. So if you collect in Yelm, it will stay in Yelm.
Ways to participate:

Collect: Gather non-perishable food items at your business. This can be something you invite your whole team to join in and even include your customers. The kit will have all kinds of suggestions for how to collect food. We can make arrangements with you to drop off the collection.

Drop-Off Point: We would like to have 2-3 public drop-off points for the food collection. If you have a lobby space that would allow for drop-off, please let us know. We will advertise your business address on marketing materials as the place where folks can bring donations.

Sponsor: We are looking for sponsorships for this event to help with staffing, transportation, and marketing costs. If you are interested, please contact me as soon as possible, as this is a limited opportunity.
